Green Building Design Group was commissioned to conduct a Baseline Assessments and Energy Efficiency Audits (Level 1) at Ford’s Silverton Assembly Plant—a key automotive facility producing the Ranger pickup for both domestic distribution and export to over 100 international markets.

The audit focused on five critical energy domains:

• ❄️ HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)

• 💧 Water Usage

• 🔄 Compressed Air Systems

• ♨️ Water Heating Units

This foundational energy analysis prepared the site for a 13.5MW solar power facility that launched in 2022—supporting Ford’s global sustainability goals and regional climate commitments.
